Our Painted Process
Our process includes:
This creates a tactile, artisanal finish that sets our kitchens apart.Climate Controlled StorageBefore production starts, doors and drawer fronts are kept in a climate controlled warehouse to maintain optimum humidity and temperature, this helps prevent warping or finish issues once painted.
Precision Sanding After your order is placed, the doors go through multiple stages of sanding. This starts with robotic sanding for consistency and is followed by hand finishing by skilled technicians ensuring an ultra smooth surface ready for primer.
Priming in Spray BoothsThe sanded doors are loaded into state of the art robotic spray booths and receive a consistent, controlled primer coat. This primer helps the topcoat adhere correctly and boosts long term durability. The primer coated doors are then dried in heated chambers.
Hand Sanded Between Coats After priming, each door is lightly hand sanded again. This further smooths the surface and improves the adhesion for the topcoat paint, which helps the final finish look flawless and last longer.
Topcoat Application The fully prepared doors are returned to the spray booths and coated with your chosen richly pigmented paint colour from our extensive palette. For more intricate shapes (like Harborne), expert sprayers finish some areas by hand for perfect coverage. These finishes are designed to be both attractive and practical wipe clean for everyday kitchen use.
Quality Assurance & Curing Once painting is complete, each door undergoes a final quality check. The doors then cure for several hours before packaging ensuring the coating reaches full hardness and durability before leaving the factory.
Real Painted Kitchens Designed for Real Living
Crafted with care and finished with meticulous attention to detail, our painted kitchens are made to be lived in, not just looked at. Every door is prepared, primed, and painted with a durable finish that stands up to daily use while showcasing rich, characterful colour. The result is a kitchen that feels warm, authentic, and beautifully personal, designed to grow with your home and your life.
